Production Supervisor and Warehouse Operative
Cheltenham
Stanilod Group Ltd is a group of businesses working within the food industry. Starting as a small family run business, we have grown considerably and are now a team of more than 30. We are looking for a Production Supervisor who is also able to assist our Warehouse team. This is a permanent, full time position.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday, 0800 to 1700. Overtime may be required.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring the production process
- Operating the production machinery as required, such as lifting equipment and forklift trucks
- Performing quality assurances and testing checks
- Filling and labelling the finished goods in preparation for shipment
- Cleaning the machinery and other parts of the production space
- Maintaining an inventory of the stock and the packaging in the warehouse
- Maintaining work areas and equipment
- Assisting the full time production worker with day-to-day tasks when required
- Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match relevant paperwork
- Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures
- Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods or machinery
- Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules
- Assisting with warehouse inventory controls
- Assisting in warehouse day to day tasks when required
Skills required:
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment
- Strong sense of organisation
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good physical strength and dexterity, capable of lifting 25kg unassisted
- Excellent team working skills
- Computer literacy skills
- Honestly and trustworthiness
- GCSE’s or equivalent in English or Maths
- Valid Forklift licence (Desired but not essential)
- Valid Forklift reach truck licence (Desired but not essential)
- Previous experience working in warehouse (Desired but not essential)
