SALARY PAY: £40,000 per annum
PERMANENT
DAILY TIMES: Mon-Thur 07.00-16.00, Fri 07.00-12.00 (39 hours per week)

VACANCY - BEAM WELDING DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
ESS Employment are seeking an experienced Beam Welding Development Engineer to work for an established local company.
Duties:
• Oversee and manage the development of electron beam welding projects to ensure optimal quality and efficiency.
• Providing guidance, training, and support as needed (once trained).
• Collaborate with customer’s design and engineering teams to develop innovative electron beam welding solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor and maintain equipment, identifying areas for improvement or repair.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Requirements:
• Basic knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment. (not essential)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong Engineering Background
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with industry health and safety standards.
