Good Inwards Inspector - Q/QI

Position: Goods Inwards Inspector
Location: Quedgeley
type of position: 3 moth contract

Working hours: Friday to Monday 8:00 am to 16:00

Job Purpose:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Goods Inwards Inspector to join a forward-thinking manufacturing business. The role involves ensuring all incoming goods and materials meet required specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform detailed inspections of incoming goods, raw materials, and components against specifications, and purchase orders.
* Review and verify supplier documentation.
* Record inspection results and non-conformances within the quality management system.
* Work closely with procurement, engineering, and production teams to address quality concerns.
* Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Requirement:

* Proven experience in a similar role, such as Goods Inwards Inspector or Quality Inspector, preferably within manufacturing.
* Skilled in using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
