Personal Assistant/Support Worker
Gloucester
Looking for a self-employed part-time personal assistant/support worker for a visually impaired woman in her mid-twenties.
Pay rate: £15.86 per hour (paid in half an hour chunks) plus mileage at 45p per mile.
Hours: 10-20 hours per week, between the hours of 7am to 9pm. Very flexible, willing to work around your schedule. Weekday daytime availability preferred.
Duties:
- Meal preparation
- Cleaning
- Laundry
- Shopping
- Dog walking
- Managing medication
- Managing appointments
- Driving (travel mostly between Gloucester, Cheltenham and Stroud)
- Helping with timekeeping, planning and organisation
Must be patient, understanding and able to cope with last minute changes. Must be dog friendly as the woman has a guide dog. Basic makeup skills would be beneficial.
Registering as self-employed and acquiring business car insurance is required.
