Job: Production Operative & Picker
ESS Employment Ltd are looking to recruit a Picker and Packer to join an established friendly team in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
Full training is given however the candidate must have excellent attention to detail, dexterity and a good understanding of Maths and English. Starting rate of £11.44ph, after training there will be a further review.
Responsibilities:
•Production of components to customer drawings and specifications
•Manufacture of standard products
•Packing orders
•Goods inwards
•Control of stock and materials used.
•Contributing to process review and continual improvements
•Advise the office of any stock items, packaging materials or other components that you have noticed are running low.
•Ensure workshop and production areas are clean and tidy and stock is clearly stored.
•Ensure all equipment and manufacturing specifications are put away at the end of the job.
•Use of forklift provided you have current certificate. Training can be offered in this for the right candidate.
•Together with any other duties which fall within a manufacturing role.
Requirements:
•Packing experience
•Experience of working in a manufacturing role
•Able to work under pressure.
•Enthusiasm and a proven ability to achieve results.
•Punctual
•Reliable
Skills:
•Dexterity
•Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
•Use of hand power tools
•Use of pallet truck/forklift
•Good organisational skills
