As Finance Business Support Officer, you will at all times:

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To support the Finance Manager with all finance functions as required. This includes (but is not limited to): accounts receivable, accounts payable, direct income and expenditure, petty cash etc.
- Prepare and input supplier payments and reconcile against accounts
- To Liaise with Foster Carers about payment matters and prepare annual foster carer statements.
- To record and monitor petty cash and expenses claims including reconciliations.
- To use the organisations accounting software (Xero) confidently and appropriately.
- To complete all tasks related to daily banking, invoices and data entry.
- To support the administration of corporate credit cards and expense claims.
- To assist colleagues, as required, with the weekly purchase orders. Making purchases where appropriate approval has been given.
- To work within the framework of the organisation’s Finance Policy.
- To support Supervising Social Workers with cost agreements and Individual Placement Agreements.
- Support the wider business support team to ensure a consistent level of support e.g. answering phones, welcoming guests etc

It is the nature of the work of Community Foster Care, that tasks and responsibilities are unpredictable and varied. All staff are therefore expected to work in a flexible way when the occasion arises where tasks are not specifically covered in the Job Description and have to be undertaken.

Salary: £23,810 - £25,346 pro rata
