Pension Operations Manager - R7629

Job Description Renishaw is a FTSE 250 manufacturing company with a proud history of delivering measurement, calibration and precision manufacturing solutions to some of the most complex engineering processes in the world. Renishaw is looking to recruit a Pensions Operations Manager. The company currently operates a defined contribution (DC) scheme but also oversees a closed DB scheme for circa 500 members. Whilst the primary focus for the role will be to support members, trustees and stakeholders in managing all aspects of the Renishaw pension schemes, there may also scope to get involved in other benefits related projects as and when required. Key duties: Handling member enquiries and feedback Co-ordinating and hosting 1-2-1 pension sessions with employees External stakeholder management i.e. pension providers, lawyers. Pensions engagement – responsibility for devising and implementing ways to educate and engage our members Co-ordination and hosting of our pre-retirement courses (supported by an external provider) Active member of our internal DC Governance Committee Project co-ordination with trustees and other external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time Administerial support for trustees Ensuring compliance with internal policy/process (including legal compliance things like auto-enrolment activities) Co-ordinating death in service claims, Group Life administration and Income Protection renewals Person specification: Proven experience of working in an operational capacity on UK company pension schemes Demonstrable experience of both DB and DC schemes Excellent stakeholder management skills Experience in developing and rolling out engagement initiatives Attention to detail Strong communication skills Analytical and numerical skills Self-starter / pro-active Complaints and remediation experience Ability to work independently Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines Integrity – ability to work with discretion and maintain confidentiality where necessary Location: The role will be based at our New Mills Site near Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire.
