• Build relationships with the pupils and staff.

Who are Thrive Education?

“Placing Professionals, not just plugging gaps!’’

Thrive Education Recruitment Limited, the ONLY Education Recruitment Agency with offices in both Gloucestershire and Wiltshire! Not only this, but we work with the monopoly of Primary & Secondary Schools across the two counties too!

Our mission is to use our combined experience in recruitment and teaching to offer a recruitment experience that rises above that offered by our competitors in an already crowded and established field.
Thrive Education is a bespoke supply teaching agency whose key focus is to establish and maintain a genuine partnership between the settings that use it and the staff it places. This approach benefits both the schools and the Thrive teachers as assignments are always carefully matched and well thought out; after all no one gains from incompatible placements, least of all the pupils.

We recognise how crucial it is to take the time to talk to schools in a detailed way to gain a proper understanding of each setting’s unique characteristics, values, challenges, priorities and needs. This understanding is the bedrock of creating successful staffing solutions.

Thrive works with dynamic and highly motivated teachers who are confident they can do a great job in their areas of expertise. Joining Thrive means becoming part of a select team of professionals all sharing the desire to make a positive impact regardless of the timeframe of the placement and feeling valued as an asset within an organisation where quality counts.

At Thrive Education we understand that Supply Teaching is a lifestyle choice, not just for people who 'cannot get a job'. Working for Thrive Education lets you choose what days and which schools you like to work for. So, whether you want full-time supply, or casual work to fit around your current schedule, we can certainly help you!

Required skills and experience:

• Valid teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS).
• A nurturing and caring approach with young people.
• A DBS on the update service or a DBS issued within the last 12 months (Not got one? Don’t panic, we’ll apply for one for you!)
• 2 teaching references

What you'll get in return:

Unlike our competitors, we will never pressure you into working and will only offer you work where and when you want it, allowing you to fit work around your other commitments, giving you a greater work/life balance.

You’ll also benefit from:

• A daily Supply Teacher rate of up to £153.84 per day which equates to £29,998 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
• PAYE payroll (NO UMBRELLA COMPANIES)
• Holiday Pay at 12.07% for each day that you work.
• Employers pension Contributions
• 30 free CPD courses through TES
• Refer a Friend bonus scheme
• Regular contact throughout the registration process and once you are at work.
• No laborious administration. We complete your timesheets for you and the registration process is VERY straight forward.

Don’t just take our word for it:

‘’I recently joined Thrive after moving to the area and away from my full-time job. Ellis and his team have been welcoming, friendly and supportive as I embarked on supply teaching. I looked at other agencies, but this one stood out and I have not regretted it. I like the way I am paid and the amount I get. I love that they are accommodating with the hours I want to work and with a no pressure approach. I have only positives to report; from the cheery messages about available work to the lovely feedback from schools and the regular thanks for working for them. You have created a relaxed, happy team and I have become a relaxed and happy teacher. Thank you Thrive for doing such a great job!’’

Helen (Supply Teacher)
