Project Co-ordinator - Self Employed
Cheltenham
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Co-ordinator to assist and support our Managing Director with his involvement in various charities and local community projects in and around Gloucestershire.
The post will involve undertaking research into new areas, acting as an ambassador when dealing with external contacts, exploring ways to grow the various organisations and delivering projects to specification and time-scales.
Key Tasks
- Carry out research and feasibility projects as directed, adopting a proactive approach
- Systematically plan, develop and achieve project objectives
- Keep records of decisions, actions, progress and outcomes
- Identify new Sponsors
- Operate effective diary management and liaise with the Managing Director’s PA
- Prepare and organise meetings and produceminutes
- Provide cover for the Managing Director’s PA as required
Candidates should have the following skills:
- An interest in the local community
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
- A professional and confident telephone manner
- A friendly and pro-active personality
- Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
