Project Manager

Tewkesbury

For over 900 years Tewkesbury Abbey has stood as a spiritual, cultural and heritage resource for the town, region and nation, and is now embarking on a project to safeguard this heritage for future generations.  Tewkesbury Abbey Welcoming All is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund; thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to invest in a range of activities to double the number of visitors to the Abbey, increase income and prepare the future needs of our buildings.

As Project Manager for the project, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating all the activities within it, shaping and delivering the future plans and development of the Abbey.  You will ensure that timescales and budgets are kept to, that the Abbey’s committed team of staff, volunteers and clergy play their part, and oversee the recruitment and training of new team members. The successful candidate will be an experienced project manager and a flexible team player who is looking for an exciting new challenge, and the opportunity to shape the next chapter in the life of the Abbey.

This role offers a salary of £25,000 per annum for a 20-month fixed-term contract of 20 hours per week.
