Bar Manager
Cirencester
Full time, average 35 hours per week on a flexible rota to include weekends and evenings

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Bar Manager to join our team at the RAU. In this role, you will play a crucial part in creating a fun and safe bar environment for both students and external clients.
As the Bar Manager, you will lead an efficient team, ensuring they are trained to the highest standards while delivering a personalised experience for our diverse clientele. You will also collaborate closely with the Food & Beverage Operations Manager to implement new ideas and continuously improve our services.
Moreover, the Bar Manager will actively contribute to shaping the student culture at the RAU, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all. If you are passionate about delivering excellent service and enhancing the overall bar experience, we would love to hear from you.
We are seeking a candidate with previous supervisory or management experience in a bar or catering setting within a hospitality venue. The ideal candidate will possess strong budgetary and financial management skills, a proven track record of managing successful teams, and the ability to develop and implement policies and processes. You should be self-motivated, able to thrive in a busy environment, and deeply passionate about the hospitality industry and providing quality service. Additionally, the Bar Manager should either hold or be willing to obtain a personal bar license and a first aid qualification.
