The Role
- Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you will take full ownership of end-to-end sourcing, from supplier selection and tendering to contract negotiation and performance management.
- You ll work closely with local and group-wide stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives and mitigate future supply chain risks.
- This role is hands-on and commercially focused, requiring someone with strong negotiation skills, excellent supplier relationship management experience, and the ability to deliver cost savings without compromising on quality.
What We re Looking For:
- MCIPS or equivalent qualification with strong procurement experience
- Proven track record of cost-saving initiatives and supplier contract management
- Strategic mindset with the ability to assess supply chain risks and drive improvements
- Confident leader with excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Proactive and analytical, able to assess global supply trends and market fluctuations
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic procurement initiatives to enhance efficiency and drive cost savings
- Negotiate supplier contracts to secure the best commercial terms
- Develop procurement, risk, and capacity strategies aligned with operational goals
- Oversee tendering processes, supplier evaluations, and performance monitoring
- Deliver detailed cost and risk analysis to inform business decisions
- Manage and develop a small procurement team, ensuring best practices are maintained
