Bisley Blue Coat Primary School is a small, friendly and dynamic village primary school in the heart of the Cotswolds. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed KS2 teacher to join our hard working and supportive team. The position will start in January in our mixed age group class of Year 5 and Year 6. The successful candidate will be keen to promote high standards in all aspects of school life and be sympathetic to the Christian character of our school. This is a fixed-term contract through to the end of the academic year, with the potential to extend beyond.

- Be a creative, inspirational class teacher with experience in the relative age groups.
- Have high expectations of pupil achievement and progress, and of pupil behavior.
- Be flexible in their approach, well organised, and prepared to work as part of a team.

- Have a strong awareness of the social, emotional and well-being needs of young people.

Bisley Blue Coat School is federated with Oakridge Parochial School. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to share and lead collaboratively across both schools. Both schools work well together to share good practice and learning opportunities.
The contract is fixed term for the remainder of the academic year. The contract will be reviewed in the summer term with the potential to be extended to meet the needs of the school.
