This is an exciting time to join our school we have experienced a tremendous rise in numbers and this allowed us to recruit many new staff. You would be joining these and our existing staff that form a forward thinking and fully supportive team of staff who are passionate about improving the opportunities for all students.

In the most recent Ofsted inspection, the Science department was praised for its determination and capacity to improve, and this was borne out by a dramatic upturn in GCSE science results in 2022 2023 and 2024. This is a great time to join the department, Science is a focus area for the school and a popular choice at A-level. Our rising popularity has led to expanding student numbers, including at A-level, we are now looking to appoint a Laboratory Technician.

It is essential for the successful applicant to have at least GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English, Maths and Science and one A Level qualification in a Science.

Salary Range:
£24,294 - £25,545 per annum, pro rata (pay award pending)
Actual salary:
(£19,192 - £20,658.)

Work Location:
School Based Conditions:
35 hours per week, term time only
(7 hours per day, 5 days a week)
