MATERNITY COVER - Part time or Full time

At Chosen Hill School, we are seeking a talented and enthusiastic professional to join our Inclusion
department. We are looking for someone who is passionate and has a keen interest in encouraging and
inspiring students with SEND. You will join an innovative and highly committed team who support one
another to succeed and share a deep interest in professional learning and development.  You will be well supported by our Assistant Headteacher- Inclusion and the rest of the team.

Chosen Hill School is a thriving and ambitious comprehensive academy, judged good by Ofsted in all
categories. It is a large, popular and successful 11-18 Academy School situated in Churchdown, half way between Cheltenham and Gloucester. We have around 1350 students on roll, of whom approximately 130 are on the SEND register. Chosen Hill is a happy school, with high expectations, where students, staff and parents work closely in partnership. We are proud of our positive relationship built on trust and mutual respect.

The Headteacher and The Governing Body of Chosen Hill School are committed to safeguarding and

this commitment. 

We require all new employees to complete an enhanced level criminal background check through
the Disclosure and Barring Service. It is a condition of employment that the employee should not
have been convicted of a criminal offence against children, nor have been dismissed, or resigned
from, a previous employer for misconduct of a similar nature. Having a criminal record is not necessarily a bar to employment; it will depend on the nature, circumstances and background to the offence.

As part of our due diligence within safer recruitment, school will be carrying out online searches to
help identify any incidents or issues which may need to be explored at interview. These searches will

Salary: Teacher Pay Scale plus SEN Allowance £2,270 and TLR 2A £2,873 (where appropriate)
