Teacher of Mathematics
Stroud
Full Time or Part-Time (min. O.6FTE) and Permanent
Full Time Equivalent Salary – MPS/UPS
Based at - Marling School
We are looking for a Teacher of Mathematics to join our talented and supportive team at Marling School. We are a thriving Multi-Academy Trust with a strong collective identity of working together to generate and celebrate success within our communities. Start Date – September 2024
We wish to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Mathematics to work with our Head of
Mathematics and the Mathematics Team in taking the department on to even greater success.
Mathematics is a popular and successful subject within the School, with numbers for A Level
Mathematics and Further Mathematics being consistently high. The School also offers Level 3 Core Mathematics as part of its Sixth Form curriculum. We would welcome applications on either a part- time or full-time basis, with part-time applications at a minimum level of 0.6FTE.
The successful candidate will:
• Have a passion for teaching Mathematics and the ability to inspire both staff and students.
• Have the ability to teach Mathematics to at least GCSE.
• Insist on a commitment from all young people to achieve success, and will have the ability to motivate students with a focus on maximising attainment.
• Have outstanding subject knowledge and an awareness of current developments in Mathematics teaching.
