Senior Marketing Executive - Performance Marketing

The Specialists Journey Group is a collection of some of the world’s finest niche tour operators made up of a number specialist brands, including Brightwater Holidays – the UK’s leading garden, scenic Scottish and special interest tour operator, Andante Travels – a leading provider of archaeological, cultural and historical holidays, and Dream Challenges a fundraising event service to UK charities.
We are looking to recruit a creative and commercialSenior Marketing Executive, to manage and drive the digital marketing activity for the Specialist Journeys’ brands, working alongside our Agency partners within our Group marketing team (which is responsible for the marketing of Specialist Journeys Group brands, as well as those of the JG Travel Group).
This role is focussed on driving revenue and passenger growth through data-driven paid search, social, affiliate, and other performance channels, with a focus onstrategy and execution. Strong collaboration with our internal teams and external agencies will be key.
We are looking for analytically focused candidates with a paid media management background and specifically hands-on experience using AdWords and Meta Ads. Other platforms will be an advantage.
You must be highly organised, with experience of managing paid media accounts and analysing data to monitor and optimise paid media campaigns through appropriate tools. SEO skills would be advantageous.
Specific accountabilities include:
- Lead digital performance marketing across all Group brands, managing paid media strategy with agency partners.
- Manage, own and optimise paid search across Google, Bing and other channels to drive efficient returns.
- Create, monitor and refine paid social campaigns on Meta and Instagram to achieve business goals.
- Oversee affiliate marketing and agency relationships to maximise results.
- Analyse performance using GA4, Matomo, and MMM models, recommending data-driven optimisations.
- Drive A/B testing, landing page improvements, and organic traffic growth for better conversion.
- Manage paid media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation for long-term value, revenue growth and return on investment.

The ideal candidate will be a proficient multi-tasker with excellent communication skills, who is able to foster strong relationships with agency partners and internal stakeholders to drive a collaborative, results-oriented approach.
We offer a flexible working environment and would expect the role-holder to attend the office in Cheltenham a minimum of 2 days per week.
Please note: Hands-on Paid Media management experience is key to success in this role which you must be able to demonstrate to be successful.
