Warehouse Operative - 334102910
Gloucester
We are recruiting Warehouse Operative's for our client based in Bristol Road, Gloucester, you must hold a full UK driving licence, the role is paying £11.50 per hour (increase on competition of probation), overtime £14.95 per hour, paid weekly, working rotating shifts, temp to perm, full-time, full training and site induction, opportunities to progress within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Pick computer-generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large items.
- Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.
- Operate saws and handle steel.
- Transfer stock to its location using forklift trucks and cranes.
- Assist in the overall production and dispatch of customers' orders.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Driving licence (Essential).
- Experience as a Warehouse Operative with both bandsaw and crane experience (Desired).
- Health and safety awareness.
- Overhead crane experience (Advantageous).
- Fork-lift and side-loader experience (Desirable).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Basic computer and data input skills.
Further information:
- Week 1 - 05:30 to 14:00 Monday to Friday, paying £11.50ph.
- Week 2 - 12:00 to 20:30 Monday to Thursday & 11:00 to 19:30 Friday, paying 12.75ph shift bonus.
- Overtime: £14.95ph
- Pay increase once probation period is completed.
- Monthly bonuses included.
- 1x 30-minute lunch break.
- Full training and site induction provided.

- Weekly pay each Friday, paid annual leave, access to pension - PAYE.
