Catering Supervisor

About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an engaging and proactive Catering Supervisor to join our trading team at WWT Slimbridge Wetland Centre.
The successful applicant will support the Catering Service Manager to deliver an inspirational catering environment. This will be achieved by leading, coaching and engaging team members to adapt to change and the implementation of new initiatives, whilst creating a warm and welcoming environment for our visitors.
The role requires pro-actively promoting and maximising sales opportunities by adapting to seasonal changes and visitor buying behaviours to support the conservation work of WWT.
This role will work 22.5 hours a week, 3 days out of 7. Availability of working days will be discussed at interview although please note, some weekend working is essential.

About You
To join as our Catering Supervisor you will have:
- experience in a relevant trading/commercial environment
- experience of team supervision, training and development
- a proven track record in delivering or exceeding departmental targets
- experience in delivering exceptional standards in Customer Care
- previous experience of a Food Safety Management System (FSMS)
