Cover Supervisor with extra-curricular responsibilities

Churchdown

Grade 6:  Point 13-20 £26,873 to £30,296 per annum pro rata (Actual salary £19,523- £22,010)

Permanent - 32 hours per week 8.15am-3.15pm Monday to Friday, however, 2 days to 4.15pm (to be agreed)(60 mins unpaid break/lunch).

Term Time only (38 weeks)

This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our Cover team. Ideally 5 days a week, but we will consider part time. We would also like the successful candidate to provide extracurricular opportunities for students during lunch times and from 15.15 to 16.15 two days a week to be agreed.

We strive to provide the best education for all our students to enable them to achieve their potential in lessons. This role will involve supervising whole classes during the short term absence of class teachers and supporting students in lessons when not supervising classes. We are looking for someone with good interpersonal skills and the confidence and ability to relate well with 11-18 year olds. Excellent time management and IT skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to be pro-active and work independently.

Chosen Hill School is a thriving and ambitious comprehensive academy, judged good by Ofsted in all categories. It is a large, popular and successful 11-18 Academy School situated in Churchdown, half way between Cheltenham and Gloucester.
