A great opportunity has arisen for a SEND (Grade 5 depending on qualifications and experience working within KS1) to work with a child with an ECHP KS1.

Though academic success is key we firmly believe that there is life beyond the classroom, in forest school, music, art, sporting activities and trips and that all children should have the opportunity to access everything our school has to offer.
Knowledge or experience of supporting children with sensory needs and adapting the curriculum would be advantageous.
The candidate would need the ability to form a safe, secure and supportive relationship with a child with additional needs, whilst showing patience and consistency. You will support the child’s learning and play development.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.

Appointments to school are made with reference to the latest safeguarding guidance and Keeping Children Safe in Education and will involve additional safeguarding checks including DBS checks and references. The school will also conduct online searches of publicly available information as part of due diligence with shortlisted applicants.
