We are looking to appoint a Teaching Partner to support a child with communication and interaction needs who is joining our EYFS class in April 2025. The position is for 30 hours per week, 8.40am to 3.10pm, Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year, term time only. There will be an unpaid break of 30 minutes per day from 11.20am – 11.50am. The position is fixed term initially for 12 months and temporary whilst the pupil is on roll. The hours may be subject to change should the funding arrangements or needs of the child change.

We seek applications from Teaching Partners who are passionate about supporting children’s development with ability or expertise in the following:
- Experience of working with pupils in EYFS preferred.
- Experience of working with pupils with additional needs preferred.
- A secure understanding of pupil development.
- Some understanding of EHCP’s and My Plans, and how to tailor provision to meet these targets.
- Experience of supporting children’s in all aspects of their learning
- Experience of behaviour management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents & colleagues.
- A good team player who is able to use their own initiative, take on ideas and attend training as required.
- Patient, caring, enthusiastic and flexible in your approach
