Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Contracted hours per week: 27 hours 5 minutes per week (8:40 - 3:20)
Working weeks per year: 39 weeks
Contract type: Fixed Term until 31/08/2025
Pay Grade: 6 - starting salary £18,274 per annum
Fixed Term: until 31st August 2025

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team. This role will have an expectation for whole class-based teaching (PPA Cover) until the end of the academic year.

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who will:-

• Complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities and delivering learning activities to the whole class in the absence of the teacher.
• have high expectations within the classroom setting through commitment to raising the standard of learning for all pupils.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards all aspects of their work.
• Have a good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
• Work well as part of a team.
