We are looking to recruit a capable and committed teaching assistant to work with a pupil, partially based in the classroom and partially in The Hive. These posts are likely to suit somebody who has worked in the education sector with experience of working with High Needs pupils and who would like to work in a friendly, bright primary setting. The successful candidate will work with the EYFS and The Hive team to ensure that the child’s learning, emotional and physical needs are met.
Following our excellent Ofsted inspection report (November 2023) we are very keen to ensure that the school continues to go from strength to strength, and provide staff with the support and training opportunities to undertake their role and responsibilities is key.
We can offer the successful candidates the opportunity to work with a talented and committed staff team.
The posts would suit a candidate who is committed to providing the best learning opportunities and who is also keen to develop themselves professionally. You will have strong communication skills, as well as the capability of working with children with special educational needs. The successful applicant will be required to work closely with teachers, parents, the SENDCo and other outside agencies.
This role is offered on a fixed term contract until August 2025, with a view to extend further into the following academic year, funding permitting.
