Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant Primary School in Gloucester? This is a part-time, long-term position supporting children in Class 2 in small groups with maths and English. Join an Ofsted-rated Good school with a supportive environment, excellent transport links, and a commitment to nurturing every child's potential.
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children in Class 2, including small group and class-based work.
- Providing targeted support in maths and English.
- Working closely with the Class Teacher to deliver engaging lessons.
- Supporting SEND students, including those with dyslexia, ensuring all children thrive.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Maintaining strong communication with staff and parents to meet students' needs.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning.
- Experience working in UK schools, ideally in a Primary School setting.
- A background in supporting children with SEND, including dyslexia.
- Strong organisational skills and a passion for helping children succeed.
Working as a Teaching Assistant for Flourish Education also offers you other excellent benefits, including:
- £85.02 - £98.41 per day, equating to £16,578.90 - £19,189.95 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
