Academics are looking for an enthusiastic and inclusive Secondary Teaching Assistant to support schools in the Yate area. Whether you are looking for a long-term, short-term, or part-time position, we have opportunities to suit your needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children in a school setting and possess the ability to manage behaviour effectively while motivating students in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assistance and supervision for students throughout the school day.
Support students in understanding and engaging with lesson content.
Offer one-to-one support where required.
Help build students' confidence and motivation.
Adapt to different tasks and the varying needs of students.
Be based locally or able to commute to Yate.
As you may be required to work across multiple schools in and around Yate, having your own transport is desirable but not essential.
To be considered for this Secondary Teaching Assistant role, you must have a valid, clear DBS check or be willing to apply for one.
