An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Newnham St Peter’s C of E Primary School. We require an experienced, qualified Classroom Teaching Assistant to work in our fantastic school in the first instance to support with Numeracy and Literacy. Experience of teaching phonics would be advantageous. Hours: Monday – Friday. Hours: 8:45am – 12pm and 1-3pm
The successful candidate will need to be creative, nurturing and inclusive, demonstrating their passion and enthusiasm to achieve the very best for every child.
We wish to appoint an outstanding Teaching Assistant who
• has excellent numeracy and literacy skills
• has a good understanding of teaching phonics
• effectively supports children’s learning and progress
• manages behaviour positively
• builds excellent relationships with pupils, staff and families.

• is committed to the Christian ethos of our school.
This is an appointment to the Severn Federation Academy Trust to be based at Newnham St Peter’s C of E.
