IT Trainers – Part-time – Self-Employed

The ITSA Digital Trust (ITSADT) previously known as IT Schools Africa (ITSA) is a UK Registered Charity based in Leckhampton, Cheltenham, with a mission to transform IT Education in Africa, together with addressing digital deprivation in the UK.
We have been delivering technology, digital access and the skills to use digital devices to those who need it most in Africa for over 16 years. Two years ago we set up the Digibus Project in the UK to provide digital training.
We are looking for individuals to join our small team of IT Trainers to help us continue delivering the Digibus Project in the UK.
Main Tasks:
To deliver one to one digital training sessions to people of all age groups, normally of one hour duration, to improve their confidence in the fast moving digital world. These people may have limited knowledge, skills and access.
To assist individuals with all aspects of digital equipment, laptops, tablets, phones, etc. and awareness of scams, security, programmes, apps etc.
Place of Work:
Working as part of the Digibus Team, Trainers will visit Communities, Schools and Establishments within the boundaries of Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire. Travel will be required to the designated areas using own transport, for which a mileage allowance is payable.
Operating Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Hours of Work: Normally one or two days per week
Rate of Pay: £14.50 per hour plus mileage allowance
Requirements: Driving licence and own transport essential
