Are you a Client Accountant who would enjoy working in an established team in the beautiful North Cotswolds? Would you enjoy working with SMEs from a wide range of industries? This is an (hybrid) opportunity to work in one of the most beautiful parts of the country but in a thriving, supportive and successful accountancy practice. They have existing work and clients for you to manage so there’s no urgency to bring work in, more importantly is the ability to be supportive and proactive with your clients most of them turning over between £200k - £3m

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the Client Accountant:

• Managing a varied portfolio of clients including individuals, partnerships and larger companies
• Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual accounts, preparing VAT returns etc
• Work closely with bookkeeping and payroll colleagues
• Conduct meetings with clients remote or onsite as appropriate

Required Skills and Qualifications of the Client Accountant:

• You will probably be a PQ ACCA / ACA however fully qualified candidates would be welcome and QBE applicants may be considered
• Previous strong practice experience
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills, with the ability to translate technical matters into simple English
• Proven ability to nurture strong client relationships
• Own transport

My client is offering an annual salary of £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience for this permanent role.
