Contract: Permanent, Remote
with extensive travel (all expenses paid)
Application timeline:

Ready to inspire the next generation of students?
UCAS is looking for passionate educators to lead engagement with schools and colleges in Wales, the Northeast, and across Further Education Colleges. You’ll empower advisers to use UCAS tools earlier in students’ journeys, helping to inspire the next generation to see higher education as an exciting and accessible option.
What you’ll do:
As an Adviser Lead, you’ll build networks of advisers, foster best practices, and organise impactful development opportunities. By creating strong partnerships with schools and colleges, you’ll drive participation in higher education, using data to target areas with low engagement. You’ll also represent UCAS at regional and national events, ensuring the voice of advisers shapes our services.
Why join us?
This highly active role offers independence and flexibility, with extensive travel to engage across networks. We’re seeking candidates who know their areas inside-out (Wales, Northeast, or Further Education Colleges) and are excited to connect across networks. Travel expenses are fully covered, and interviews can be scheduled around school or college hours to suit you.
Skills, qualifications, and experience
What you’ll bring:
• A teaching or careers guidance qualification with extensive experience in UK secondary or further education.
• Leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for supporting teachers and advisers.
• A deep understanding of higher education pathways and progression.
Please see the full job specification attached.
If you’re ready to inspire change and make a lasting impact on education, apply now to help shape the future of student progression.
