Sessional Youth Support Workers

Providing young people with somewhere safe to call home as a foundation for a fulfilling and independent adulthood.

You will help to provide our duty and other support services that help to prevent and help young people move on from homelessness.

Established in 2003 for the benefit of homeless young people aged 16 to 25.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and dedicated individuals. In this role you will assist our staff team in running our wraparound service.

Experience of working with young people and an awareness of the issues facing young people at risk of and homeless across Gloucestershire is required would be helpful.

Full training is provided, as is ongoing support and commitment to your personal growth and development in the role. You will need to be available for approximately three late afternoons and/or evening sessions per week, including both school term times and holiday periods (more work may be available).

You will need to have your own transport to enable you to work across the county as required.

Following receipt of your application, you may be invited for an interview and a shadowing taster session, in which case your references will be taken up.
